2. Bible Story- The Good Samaritan (10 min)

One day, a man asked Jesus a question:
“Who is my neighbor?”

Jesus answered by telling a story.

A man was walking down a road when suddenly—robbers attacked him! They hurt him and left him on the ground.

(Pause & Ask: How do you think the man felt?)

After a while, a priest walked by. He saw the man… but he kept walking.

Then a Levite came by. He looked at the hurt man… but he also walked away.

(Teacher Emphasis: They saw someone hurting—but didn’t help.)

Then a Samaritan came by. Now, people didn’t usually like Samaritans—but this man was different.

When he saw the hurt man, he stopped.

He felt compassion. He cared.

He cleaned his wounds, helped him onto his donkey, and took him somewhere safe. He even paid for him to be cared for!

(Pause & Ask: What would you have done?)

Jesus asked, “Who was the real neighbor?”

The answer was clear—the one who helped.

Jesus said,
“Go and do the same.”

👉 God wants us to love others—not just with words, but with actions.

If Kids Ask…

What is a Levite?
A Levite was someone who worked in God’s temple and helped with worship. He knew about God and God’s rules.

Teacher Note:
The priest and the Levite both knew about God—but they didn’t help. The Samaritan showed love through action.
