1. Welcome, Opening Prayer & Worship (5 min)
Welcome
Good morning, friends! I’m so happy you’re here. Today we’ll hear how God spoke in a surprising way and gave someone an important job. Did you know God has a plan for you too? Let’s listen and learn together.
Prayer (Repeat After Me)
Dear God, thank You for loving me. Thank You for being with me. Help me listen to You. Help me say yes to You. Amen.

2. Bible Story: God Speaks from the Burning Bush (10 min)
Moses was in the desert caring for sheep. Everything was quiet… until he saw a bush on fire. But it wasn’t burning up!
Moses stopped. “What is happening?” He moved closer.
Suddenly—“Moses! Moses!”
He jumped. “Here I am.”
God said, “Do not come closer. Take off your sandals. You are on holy ground.”
Moses obeyed. God was there.
Then God said, “I have seen My people hurting. I want you to help them.”
Moses’ heart raced. “Me? I can’t…”
He made excuses: “Who am I? What if they don’t believe me? What if I say the wrong thing?”
Then he said honestly, “I’m not good at speaking.”
God answered, “Who made your mouth? I will help you speak.”
Moses still felt afraid. “Please… send someone else.”
God was not happy—but He didn’t leave him. He gave him help—his brother Aaron—and reminded him:
“I will be with you.”
So even though Moses was scared and unsure… he obeyed God.
3. Heart Connection (5 min)
Sometimes we feel just like Moses.
“I can’t do that… What if I mess up… I’m not good at it.”
Moses felt that way too—he was scared, made excuses, and didn’t feel ready.
Example: Imagine being asked to speak in class—you feel nervous and want someone else to do it. That’s how Moses felt.
Pause & Reflect: Close your eyes. Think of something that makes you nervous.
Question: What is something you feel scared to do—but you know is right?
Truth: God is with you. God will help you. You can say yes.
4. Discussion & Life Application (7 min)
Questions
What did Moses see? (Burning bush)
Who spoke to him? (God)
What did God ask? (Help His people)
What excuse did Moses give? (Not good at speaking)
What did God promise? (To be with him)
Real Life
What if you feel nervous to help someone? Try something new? Do the right thing?

6. Activity: God Is With Me Freeze Game (5 min)
How to Play:
Move to music → stop → teacher says a situation (example: “You feel scared!”) → kids freeze and say:
“God is with me!”
Truth:
God is always with us.
7. Memory Verse + Motions (3 min)
Verse:
“I will be with you.” – Exodus 3:12
Motions:
“I will” → point up
“be with you” → hug self
Practice:
Repeat together 3 times.
