2. Bible Story for Kids (10 Minutes)
(Genesis 9:8–17 – Biblically Accurate)
Story Title: God’s Promise in the Sky
After the great flood, Noah and his family came out of the ark. The rain had stopped. The waters had gone down. The land was dry again.
God had kept them safe.
Noah thanked God for protecting his family.
Then God spoke to Noah and his sons.
“I am making a covenant—a special promise—with you and with every living creature,” God said. “I promise that I will never again destroy the whole earth with a flood.”
Noah listened carefully.
Then God said, “This is the sign of My promise.”
God placed His rainbow in the clouds.
The rainbow shined across the sky.
God said, “Whenever you see this rainbow, remember My covenant. I will remember My promise to you and to all living things.”
Noah looked up and felt peace in his heart.
He knew God was faithful.
He knew God could be trusted.
And today, when we see a rainbow, God reminds us:
“I love you.
I am with you.
I keep My promises.”
3. Heart Connection Teaching (5 Minutes)
Heart Moment: “God Is With You”
Friends, sometimes our hearts feel worried.
Maybe you feel worried when:
• It’s dark
• You miss someone
• You make a mistake
• Someone hurts your feelings
• You feel alone
Let me tell you about a little girl named Sofia.
One night, Sofia felt scared. She whispered, “God, are You here?”
Her mom said, “Do you remember God’s rainbow?”
“Yes,” Sofia said.
“That rainbow means God never forgets you,” her mom replied.
They prayed together.
And Sofia felt peaceful.
Friends, God is like a loving parent.
He sees you.
He hears you.
He cares about you.
When you feel afraid, God says:
“I am with you.”
