Age Group: 5–10 years old
Time: 30–40 minutes
1. Welcome & Opening Prayer (3 Minutes)
Teacher Says:
“Good morning, kids! Today we’re going to learn something amazing—Jesus has many special names, and each one tells us something wonderful about who He is!”
Opening Prayer:
“Dear God, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus. Help us understand His beautiful names and how much He loves us. Amen.”
2. Bible Story (8–10 Minutes)
The Many Names of Jesus
Explain to the children that Jesus wasn’t given just one name in the Bible.
Each name shows a different part of His character and His love for us.
Key Scriptures:
Emmanuel – “God with us” (Matthew 1:23)
Light of the World (John 8:12)
Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6)
Good Shepherd (John 10:11)
Savior (Luke 2:11)
King of Kings (Revelation 19:16)
Story Summary:
Long before Jesus was born, God told people through the prophets that a Savior was coming. When Jesus came to earth, He showed us who God is—kind, loving, powerful, and full of peace.
Every name of Jesus is like a “gift tag” that helps us understand Him better: He guides us, protects us, saves us, and stays close to us.
Main Point:
Jesus has many names because He is everything we need.
