2. Bible Story for Kids (10 Minutes)
Story Title: Jacob’s Dream
Today, we are learning about a person in the Bible named Jacob.
Jacob was traveling all alone.
It was getting dark, and he needed a place to sleep.
He found a spot on the ground, took a stone for a pillow, and lay down.
But something amazing happened…
While Jacob was sleeping, he had a dream.
In his dream, he saw a ladder reaching all the way to heaven!
Angels were going up and down the ladder.
Then… God spoke to Jacob.
God said:
“I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham.”
“The land you are lying on I will give to you and your family.”
“Your family will grow big, like the dust of the earth.”
“All people on earth will be blessed through you.”
“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go.”
“I will not leave you until I have done what I promised you.”
Wow… those are big promises!
Did you hear something special?
God told Jacob some of the same promises He had already told Abraham—his grandfather.
That means something very important…
God keeps His promises from generation to generation.
And even more special…
God didn’t just promise things—
He promised His presence.
When Jacob woke up, he said:
“Surely the Lord is in this place, and I didn’t even know it!”
Jacob realized something very important:
God was with him the whole time.
And guess what?
God is with you, too—
at home, at school, and everywhere you go.
3.Heart Connection Teaching (5 Minutes)
Today we learned something very special…
God is always with us.
That means when you wake up in the morning…
when you go to school…
when you play…
and when you go to sleep…
God is right there with you.
And even in moments when things feel different or unsure…
God is still with you.
And remember…
Just like Jacob, that promise is for you.
God told Jacob:
“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go… I will not leave you.”
That is God’s promise.
And guess what?
That same promise is for you too.
Let me tell you something simple…
A little boy started his day by saying,
“Good morning, God!”
He talked to God while he played, while he ate, and before he went to sleep.
He remembered that God was with him all day.
And you can do that too.
