Prayer:
“Thank You, God, for giving us so many good things. Help us see You in everything around us. Amen.”
Suggested Songs:
“Thank You, Lord”
“He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands”
Icebreaker Game — “Pass the Blessing!”
• Children sit in a circle.
• Pass a ball or stuffed animal while music plays.
• When the music stops, the child holding the item says something they are thankful for:
“Thank You, God, for my family.”
• Continue until everyone participates.
Purpose: Help children recognize the blessings that come from God.
2. Bible Story: Creation (10–12 minutes)
Text: Genesis 1–2
Story Summary:
• In the beginning there was nothing, but God created everything.
• He made light, animals, plants, the sea, and man and woman.
• After creating each thing, God said, “And God saw that it was good.”
• When He created human beings, He said, “It is very good.”
Main Point:
Everything we see is a gift from God.
He made the world with love, and we should thank Him for all the good things He gives us.
3.Conversation Questions:
Who made the world? (God made it.)
What things did God make that you like? (The sun, animals, my family…)
How can we show God we are thankful? (Praying, singing, obeying…)

• Magazines, printed images, or nature-themed stickers
• Crayons or markers

5. Memory Verse (5 minutes)
James 1:17
“Every good and perfect gift is from above.”
Memorization Activity:
• Repeat the verse in parts with the children.
• Use motions:
“Every good gift” — open your arms wide
“and every perfect gift” — make a heart
“comes from above” — point upward
6. Weekly Challenge (2 minutes)
Challenge:
Each day of the week, thank God for one thing He created.
